Hello and welcome
to the

chord book for bass players and harmony
instruments.
All of us at some
time have had fake books, or chord charts which
we've relied upon as if they were some sort of holy
texts; brought out on gigs and jam sessions to help
us scrape through then put away again till the next
time they're needed.
Nothing is
retained, no musical principles or theories learnt,
we're just in robot mode - mindlessly producing
what we see. If our chart's not be in the key
that's needed, then tough, we can't play it, we're
in robot mode, so no chance of
transposing
This book operates
in two ways. It serves as a handy downloadable
chord book with nearly 400 sequences to carry in
your gig bag if the frontline player or singer
calls an unfamiliar song. Next, it teaches you how
to retain those standards, remember them and repeat
in any key. In this way the book and system will
make you a better player because your playing will
have a logical basis which you can expand upon. The
days of half remembering 15 standards in keys set
in stone - "What do you mean Misty in Ab?" - will
soon be over.
